Inglewood Park Cemetery & Inglewood Cemetery Mortuary celebrate the 4th Annual Día de los Muertos Cultural Festival, bringing the Dia de los Muertos tradition to life with the beautiful story of the Monarch butterflies.
Many stories are told of the mystery around the migration of the Monarchs and the belief that the monarchs return as spirits of their loved ones, as it coincides with the Dia de los Muertos date.
A limited amount of milkweed seed packets will be distributed to help encourage the healthy migration of the Monarchs, courtesy of the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History.
This year’s festivities also include an arts and crafts marketplace; children’s arts and crafts activities; food trucks and live entertainment for all ages.
In addition, families are invited to create their own altar and display during the event.
This event shares the culture and traditions of the Día de los Muertos festivity with all generations. The celebration is a special and respectful commemoration of the lives of loved ones who have passed away. Inglewood Park Cemetery and Inglewood Cemetery Mortuary are committed to serving Southern California with dignity, integrity and extraordinary care.
