We need all hands on deck for this pivotal point in history. We are here to support, listen and stand up for each other during the biggest Civil Rights Movement of all time. This is an emotional time and we must show empathy and strength, but we can only keep pushing if we take moments to care for ourselves. Let’s take this moment together and catch up with ourselves. Erica Chidi and Matisse Andrews will share their experience of rest, recharging, finding pleasure, joy, and pausing in an effort for sustained long term wellness and action. Moderated by Marlee Grace, as a group we will also look at the ways all people need to find rest in this time, but how that looks different for white women and Black women - how our care and resources look different now and always, but how when we’re in alignment with ourselves and each other we can create great change. We’ll be looking at the importance of caring for our bodies and our minds, our personal needs that exist within a global pandemic, within a revolutionary movement. We’ll talk best practices, avoiding frenetic social media energy and the harm it can cause, and more. Register here to save your spot!
