Museum/aquarium devoted to promoting awareness and knowledge of the rich marine life of southern California through exhibits, programs and research. Designed by noted architect Frank Gehry, the aquarium has the largest collection of southern California marine life on exhibit in the world. 20,000 gallons of sea water circulate through the museum’s 35 aquaria, outdoor touch tank and sea water laboratories.

The Aquarium is free but has a suggested admission donation of $5 for adults and $1 for children and is open to the public from 12 noon - 5 pm Tuesday through Friday and on weekends from 10 am - 5 pm.

Car beach parking is free weekdays from November 1 to February 28 and $7 on weekends and from March 1 to October 31. Groups must make reservations. Cabrillo Marine Aquarium is located at 3720 Stephen White Drive San Pedro 90731 (310) 548-7562
