Patina, Joachim Splichal’s award-winning, Michelin starred restaurant at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown Los Angeles, is joined by Rupert Murdoch’s celebrated Bel Air winery, Moraga Vineyards, on November 17 at 7 p.m. for a one-of-a-kind Moraga Wine Dinner. Hosts Splichal and Winemaker Scott Rich invite guests to experience an incomparable five-course dinner of uniquely crafted dishes showcasing Execitive Chef Andreas Roller’s expert culinary technique, paired with the finest ‘Vino Locale’ of red and white varieties by Rich. Located just a few miles away, Moraga’s wine estate is tucked away in the Santa Monica Mountains and truly represents the essence of Southern California, making it the perfect accompaniment for the cuisine at Los Angeles’ fine dining staple and Patina Restaurant Group flagship, Patina.
As with Patina, The Moraga Estate is deeply rooted in Los Angeles’s history, and the property was originally the home of Victor Flemming, director of Gone with the Wind and The Wizard of Oz. As the estate is not open to the public for tastings, this exclusive dinner will provide guests with a unique opportunity to taste four remarkably refined Moraga wines that reflect a union of distinctive terrior.
