On November 3, CURRENT: LA FOOD presents Chapter 5: Futuro of New Shores at Barnsdall Park
In partnership with the Institute of Contemporary Art Los Angeles (ICA LA) and the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, CURRENT: LA FOOD (www.currentla.org) is a month-long public arts initiative, which runs through
November 3 in 15 public parks throughout Los Angeles. All installations and related programming, including 75 events, are free and open to all. As part of this initiative, Futuro of New Shores takes place at Barnsdall Park (4800 Hollywood Blvd) on November 3 from 5.30 – 8.30pm.
Take part in this late-summer party that is a multisensory meal and performance and glimpse of the future, an evening created and presented by CURRENT artist team Julio C�sar Morales & Max La Rivi�re-Hedrick. This night considers an unknown future, given the drastic changes in our global environment. Related nights recognize immigrant cultures of East Hollywood. Bring your friends, children, and beverages; food is provided.
