The Japanese Garden is an oasis in the midst of the busy San Fernando Valley. This authentic 61/2 acre Japanese Garden was conceived and created by Dr. Koichi Kawana for the benefit of the public.
The purpose of this garden is to provide a wholesome environment there all may find beauty, relaxation, inspiration and a better understanding of Japanese culture. The garden also demonstrates a positive use of reclaimed water.
