Join Bistango as it welcomes its newest art exhibition at the Fall Art Show from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. October 26. Bistango proprietor John Ghoukassian and curator Antoinette Sullivan have partnered with Georgeana Ireland’s Newport Beach gallery, Ethos Contemporary Art for the restaurant-gallery’s newest collection of museum-quality art, which include 80 paintings, sculptures and photography.

Enjoy light bites and sips and view art from nationally and internationally acclaimed artists hand-selected by Sullivan and Ghoukassian, who are involved in every detail of the curation – from selection, to hangings of the paintings and placement of the sculptures. Bistango and Ghoukassian exemplify Bistango’s ethos – Dining as Art – bringing food and wine connoisseurs and art lovers together for more than 32 years in Orange County. Come mingle with the artists, enjoy light bites and sips and experience a fusion of art forms, with work by:

•Georgeana Ireland, owner/artist of Ethos Cotemporary Art in Newport Beach
•Dick Marconi, renaissance man and creator of Color Fusion abstracts
•Marton Varo, Hungarian sculpture who most recently completed a life-size sculpture of revered Pacific Symphony conductor, Carl St. Clair, made of Carrara marble, as well as projects in Italy, Norway and Hungary
•Pierre H. Matisse, grandson of Henry Matisse, who honors family tradition while creating his own unique and innovative body of work
•Amber Goldhammer, turning graffiti art into contemporary modern art
•David Krovblit, who produces provocative collages
•Large-scale abstract work by Clara Berta
•Ceramics by Antje Campbell
•Kevin Grass’ surrealistic figure painting
•Lenticular works by Barbara Strasen
•Martin Eichinger’s bronze sculptures
•And more …
